Explorations, Experiments & Case Studies
Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of how I think, create, and deliver work.
This showcase highlights projects where I’ve used AI to unlock new ideas and push creativity into unexplored territory—quietly shaping the workflows behind each piece to let ideas move faster and further.

Swinburne University – April Fools Campaign
AI-generated concept visuals created for an April Fools campaign at Swinburne
University. The fictional announcement claimed students would be sent to
the moon for work placements — tying into the university’s real-world space
partnerships and Work Integrated Learning program.
The visuals supported an online and media push, blending Swinburne’s
brand identity with tongue-in-cheek depictions of student life in low gravity.
The campaign aimed to entertain while reinforcing Swinburne’s future-focused
credentials.

Method Brewing – ‘State of Euphoria’ Beer Artwork
AI-assisted concept art created for Method Brewing’s State of Euphoria — a high-ABV collaboration beer brewed with a long-standing Newcastle brewery. The client shared the name and a loose narrative: the beer would honour their collaborators as respected local legends.
Drawing inspiration from The Wizard of Oz and the psychedelic style of Yellow Submarine, I visualised the three Method brewers journeying toward the elder brewery—framed in a surreal, euphoric landscape that celebrated both homage and high spirits.

Terror Nullius – Fictional Outback World-building
A creative concept exploring Terror Nullius, a fictional outback town in northern Queensland. Through AI generated imagery, I’ve begun visualising a cast of eccentric locals – each with darkly comedic backstories and a strong visual identity.
The project takes cues from Australiana satire, exploring themes of isolation, identity, and absurdity. The result is a stylised portrait of small-town strangeness, blending humour with a dry, sun-bleached sense of surrealism.

AI Portraits – Friends, Colleagues & Farewells
A series of AI-generated portraits created for friends, family, and colleagues –often used as birthday cards, farewell gifts, or just for fun. Each portrait was tailored to the individual’s personality or interests, using imaginative styling to celebrate them in a unique, playful way.

TV pilot – Lake Boga, character development
AI-assisted visual development exploring unseen characters from the pilot script of Lake Boga, a fictional television series. Working from written character descriptions and scene notes, I generated a series of portraits that explored backstory, facial expression, and mood. The visual direction drew inspiration from the cinematic style of the Coen Brothers – emphasising grounded, expressive faces, subtle tension, and a restrained, story-first aesthetic.

Children’s Birthday Invitation – Dual Worlds
A personal project using AI to design a themed birthday invitation for my children’s joint party. Each child chose their own theme – Fairies and skeletons! So I created two distinct fantasy worlds –visually joined in a single scene that brought both imaginations to life.
The faces of my children were incorporated into the artwork, and finishing touches were applied through hand-placed typography and scroll-style banners.

Sustainable Living Expo – Expo Concept
Conscious Earth lifestyle products

Eco-conscious consumers and businesses, designers, homeowners, media outlets.

Moodboard concepts
A selection of AI-generated moodboards, each tailored to a specific fictional brief to help visualise and communicate a cohesive aesthetic vision. These boards demonstrate how AI can support earlystage concept development – translating tone, materiality, and atmosphere into compelling visual references for clients across a range of industries.
